I’ve spent much of my professional life working with words—finding the story, asking questions, doing the research, and shaping information into something people want to read.
I’m a freelance writer and communications consultant with experience in editorial and feature writing, web content, marketing communications, content strategy, newsletters, social media, and print publications. I’m particularly drawn to projects involving arts and culture, health and well-being, nonprofits, and organizations with meaningful stories to tell.
Today, I take on selected freelance and consulting projects involving writing, storytelling, research, content development, and creative communications.

My communications work has included website content and management, editorial development, newsletters and email, social media, marketing and fundraising materials, brochures, direct mail, print production, and other digital and print communications.
I’ve worked both within organizations and independently, collaborating with clients, designers, printers, editors, and other creative partners to take projects from an initial idea through writing, production, and publication.
I’m especially interested in bringing that experience to arts, cultural, nonprofit, health, and mission-driven organizations—and to projects where research, storytelling, and creative thinking are valued.
